Start by reviewing the current condition
Gather the design, drawings, recent photographs and records of completed works. Ask a technical professional to assess the existing construction and the checks needed before restarting. Time left unfinished, exposure to water or departures from the drawings may change the scope.
Separate repairs from unfinished works
List the work by category: structure, roof, façade, windows, services, finishes and external areas. Distinguish what stays, what needs correction and what remains to be built. Request quotes against that same list, including quantities, exclusions and how unforeseen issues will be handled.
Clarify the conditions for restarting work
Check the documents and procedures applicable to your case with your technical adviser and municipality. If another firm was involved, gather contracts and work certificates to clarify the starting point. The new quote should specify accepted works, schedule and payments; do not assume it includes fixing all previous work.
