What to prepare before designing
Start with one room and separate what stays from what changes. Note whether the renovation affects finishes, layout or installations. Design kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom separately to clarify priorities.
What to explore in the image
Keep a shared palette across rooms and explore materials suited to their use. An image does not calculate renovation cost. Compare quotes using work scope, measurements, specifications and timing; the new-house calculator must not be applied to renovations.
