Define which work should be included: earthworks, structure, roof, installations, finishes and possible extras. Ask what is excluded from the offer and how changes would be priced. This avoids comparing a complete quote with one that excludes important line items.
Review timeframes and terms
Alongside the price, compare the schedule, payment milestones, company documentation and warranties to be agreed. Ask for taxes and costs outside the construction work to be identified. Keep the proposal in writing.
